Hey Reader,
Hey friend,
If Dubsado 3.0 feels like someone rearranged your kitchen cabinets overnight… you’re not wrong. Or if you've been feeling like it's just super overwhelming when you land on your home page. (I hear you!)
When I first went into 3.0. I felt like I didn't know where anything was, and the home page didn't show me the things I was used to seeing.
However, you can totally change how much is on your homepage and what's at the top. So it gives you only what you need and none of the info that you don't.
Here’s how to make it your calm, CEO-friendly command center: Click the Display button in the right-hand corner. You'll see a list of options.
1. Go through the sections and hide the sections you don't need.
You can always find it (or add it later), but it doesn’t need to live front and center.
Keep worthy sections (If you want to minimize the overwhelm)
Waiting on You
Finance Reports
Tasks (if you use them)
Upcoming Events
2. Rearrange them so the thing you want to see first is on top followed in order of importance.
Here's how mine is set up.
- Waiting on You
- Events
- Finance Reports
- Project Reports.
I've got the following things hidden:
- Recently Visited
- Projects
- Invoices
This is largely because I can click on other places to see those things.
3. Keep Hiding Things Until You Feel Supported by Your Home Page
The home page is there to support you. Not give you more info than you can handle. If you feel overwhelmed when you login, keep hiding things until you like what you see.
If you want me to audit your 3.0 setup, just tap reply — I’d be happy to take a look.
Warmly,
Amy
